Let’s Put Podcasting Stats Into Perspective

Say that show title three times fast. Podcasting has been trending towards a dominant medium for a few years now--which may make those who are on the fence about starting a show a tad bit nervous to take the plunge. But on today’s show, I’m giving you some perspective and context around those podcasting stats to hopefully encourage you to start and see the value in your own company-branded show. Speaking of company shows, we’ve got the experts and hosts from Trucking for Millennials, Aaron and Michael, to talk about hitting 100 episodes for their own podcast and how it’s helped them in other areas of their business, PDQ America. And last but certainly not least, Kristy Knichel, the powerhouse herself of Knichel Logistics is joining the show to talk about taking over the family business, the power of networking, and why mentoring matters so much. Follow Cyberly on AppleFollow Cyberly on SpotifyConnect with Blythe on Linkedin Buzzsprout’s May StatsSubscribe/Follow Trucking for Millennials PodcastPDQ America’s website, Linkedin, YouTube, and InstagramConnect with Aaron and Michael on LinkedinKnichel Logistics website and LinkedinConnect with Kristy Knichel on Linkedin...

The Costly Mistakes You’re Making With Your Website

One of the cool things about launching a podcast is you get connected with other podcasters fairly quickly---especially those who are in the same industry as you. That’s what happened when I joined Adrian Chapman, host of the Recruiting Stories Podcast, and we got to dive into how I got started in the logistics industry, the mistakes most companies make with their website, and the lessons I’ve learned the hard way in my marketing career. This was a great convo with Adrian and if you like this interview, be sure to check out his other episodes which I linked to in the show notes. Part of his show’s bio is At some point, we were all just undiscovered, but recruiting creates a fork in the road. This really resonated with me as I think we can all connect with the origin stories. Adrian also runs Cover 3 Recruiting which helps you build championship teams for a greater purpose.Show Links: Follow Adrian’s podcast Recruiting StoriesCheck out Adrian’s company Cover 3 RecruitingConnect with Adrian on Linkedin~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Where to Find Digital Dispatch & Blythe:  LinkedinYouTubeInstagramPinterestTikTokDigital Dispatch websiteGot something to say?Have a topic you'd like to see covered? What is Cyberly?

When you’re given a new opportunity, you should give yourself permission to adjust to that new opportunity without being too hard on yourself. That’s what I’ve been struggling with ever since I started as a brand new host on Freightwaves TV with a live show called Cyberly. But after a few weeks in and trying to combat my perfectionist nature, I feel like I’m starting to hit a good groove. So in this show, I’m breaking down what you can expect on this podcast moving forward plus an interview on What the Truck?!? breaking down what the new show is all about. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Where to Find Digital Dispatch & Blythe:  LinkedinYouTubeInstagramPinterestTikTokDigital Dispatch websiteGot something to say?Have a topic you'd like to see covered? The Power of Curiosity with Tim Dooner of Freightwaves’ What the Truck?!?

You know him as “Dooner” and probably have heard his name mentioned in some form or fashion amongst logistics media as a whole. And that’s because he’s been pulling a traditionally “boring” industry into the mainstream with his coverage on one of the top business podcasts in Apple~What the Truck?!?To produce great content you have to be inherently curious at a deep personal level. And then apply that curiosity every day while staying on top of the latest news. Dooner excels at both of these things so it’s not surprising that in just a few years since joining the Freightwaves team, he dominates for every show where he sits down with a microphone. I finally got a chance to get Dooner on the pod and he does not disappoint. Here are some things you’ll learn in this episode: How he set up an interview with Freightwaves CEO and founder Craig Fuller in hopes it would eventually lead to a job offer (spoiler alert: it did)How his experience as a customer, broker, sales, and marketing director helps his perspective when he’s covering the logistics industry Why curiosity is his superpowerOut of more than 500+ interviews, learn who is his favorite interview to date (hint: it’s out of this world)Where he gets his content inspiration And on a serious note, how being open with his alcohol addiction has helped so many folks in private deal with their own struggles.  Links from the show: Dooner’s TwitterDooner’s LinkedinWhat the Truck?!?
