In 2008 I was working at a major 3PL when social media first started becoming a “thing” and it was difficult to get that high-level buy-in as a legitimate marketing tactic. Flashforward to 2019 and the industry has started sprinting into new media fields such as YouTube and podcasting; seemingly overnight.

Over the last two weeks, I was invited on two different logistics-focused podcasts to talk about industry trends in the marketing space. One with a company in the TMS space (releasing later this month) and another, ‘The Logistics of Logistics’ podcast, which dropped just this week.

Host Joe Lynch and I come from similar backgrounds by working in the space at a management/executive level before going off to start our own respective businesses. Joe was kind enough to invite me on his show to talk about the future of inbound lead generation and tactics you can start implementing into your strategy today.

You can visit Joe’s website here and also join his Linkedin group with over 100k logistics industry professionals.
